Description

Following the completion of the LoGRI funded property tax diagnostic assessment project, LoGRI is providing technical assistance on property tax reform in Kaduna State, Nigeria. The engagement with the government of Kaduna State (GoK) is in collaboration with the Nigeria Governors’ Forum, and is supported by the Gates Foundation. 

LoGRI will provide advisory and technical assistance to Kaduna state officials in relevant agencies. The engagement will help to validate the findings of the diagnostic assessment to deepen understandings of the current system and its challenges. From this foundation, LoGRI will work with the GoK to co-develop a high-level reform proposal. Once reviewed and approved by the GoK, LoGRI will continue to support the practical implementation of the reform plan on the ground.
