This project will assess the property taxation framework in select states (Niger, Ekiti, and Kaduna) in Nigeria and conduct a macro level assessment of their reform needs and constraints. It will also conduct a micro level assessment on the technical details of the property tax system, while identifying needs and reform options. The study will aim to identify the reform needs and priorities of the selected states regarding property taxation in Nigeria and to identify the challenges facing property taxation in Nigeria.
This project is to be conducted in partnership with African Centre for Tax and Governance (ACTG).
