This policy brief will include a broad outlook on how female property owners experience the sub-national tax system and political institutions. The brief will be based primarily on findings from the Zambia taxpayer survey, as well as drawing on survey data and qualitative research from previous projects in other countries. The brief will preceed publication of an upcoming paper about using gender modules in taxpayer surveys effectively.
